If you get this cultural and structural idea right, it can increase sustainable profit, client wins, and reduce inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
If you get it wrong, it often leads to a strategic and growth plateau.
Oneness – an operating system for how you run your business
Think about the way your employees interact internally and the way they interact with your external stakeholders – your partners, suppliers, your clients, your customers.
Does it augment and support your business model? Does the level of openness in your internal systems and culture reflect the amount of openness and teamwork you want to have with your external stakeholders?
An Interconnected “Open Source” World
The world is moving towards being open source and globally interconnected powered by the internet. Critique and praise can go instantly viral. Businesses start and go out of business on a daily basis. Sales is no longer information asymmetry but about being transparent and generous.

Successful organisation create an ecosystem of mutual interest with external stakeholders so their profitability becomes more sustainable.
Take Apple for example. In some cases collaborates with its competitors – Microsoft and Google to deliver services. It ha content partnerships with those to create on its platform and creates communities of developers who build apps for its devices, tools and networks.
