WHAT CLIENTS SAY

  • After a very challenging time in my career I was at a cross road and I was referred to Andrew for advice on career direction. From our first conversation I was instantly impressed with Andrew's down to earth personality and approach which made me feel completely comfortable talking with him; I genuinely felt that he cared about making a difference. His no nonsense approach involved great questions giving me direction and purpose for insightful self reflection. His methodology is simple yet highly effective and he has now given me a renewed purpose and direction in my career. I can honestly say that I now have greater clarity in my career direction and confidence in myself. This has been more than an experience, it has been a journey that has been thoroughly rewarding and I have no hesitation in recommending Andrew to anyone looking for career direction from a world class coach.

  • It's been an incredibly enlightening and rewarding process working with Andrew. My goal was to shed light on what the next chapter of life looked like, taking into account skills and a desire for purpose and quieting the lizard brain that wakes us up at 4am questioning our choices. His process and coaching gave me some real light-bulb moments around my motivations, where I draw my energies from and why I've taken the decisions about work and life I have in the past and how these can help guide future choices. He encourages patience with the thought process so as not to disappear down a rabbit-hole of a particular idea and to keep bringing it back to the big picture. Our sessions have also led me to investigate authors and experts who tackle these challenges too, great brain food. The result for me has been a structure to address the nuts and bolts of the next 12 months and the creation of a new online entity with the working title GetLoggedOff - a how-to community for people wanting to have great experiences with the friends and family away from the distractions of everyday technology. When this grows into what I'm planning for, a large part will be down to the coaching processes of Andrew shedding light on what I should be doing best. If you're juggling the 'what does the next chapter of life and work look like to me' question, get on the phone to Andrew now. • Prior to my coaching sessions with Andrew I had a general idea of where I wanted my career to go, but my approach was essentially to push blindly forward and see where those efforts took me. In working with Andrew I was able to articulate what I wanted from my career and personal life; to break those goals down into achievable steps; and to focus my energies where they would best serve me. I have no doubt that my recent successes are a direct result of the work I did with Andrew. Andrew has very good instincts and his approach is unique in the way that he tailors his coaching to the individual he is working with – my coaching was through my workplace and, although we often worked in small teams, there was no ‘cookie cutter’ method applied; we were all given unique assistance and advice. I would definitely recommend The Reason & the Road.

  • We have worked with Andrew for over 2 years and love how he challenges the leadership team to confront all aspects of the team dynamic. We have driven change through the business, and have far greater internal honesty as a result of Andrew's coaching and guidance.

  • Andrew worked with our leadership team and our senior leaders as a team coach on collaboration and team work and as a pitch coach on our largest deals. We won a large pitch and our alignment as a team increased. He comes highly recommended to anyone looking for a world class facilitator and coach.

  • Andrew is a rare talent. His unique blend of personal development and entrepreneurial business expertise has been instrumental in helping us to visualise, design and realise personal and professional growth that complement each other. Andrew is incredibly intuitive, a wonderful listener, and highly pragmatic. He has worked closely with the Elbow team to understand the business challenges quickly and the strategies we have developed together have given the business renewed purpose and direction. Engaging a business coach is a big deal. It takes money and time. You don’t want to waste either of those things, so don’t hire someone who won’t challenge you, guide you, get into the trenches with you, and really make you think. Andrew ticks all those boxes and is a great guy at the same time. If you want to push yourself and your business to the next level Andrew will help you do it. Highly recommended.

  • Andrew is great to work with. He puts his client's needs first while using his expertise to offer helpful suggestions. He is a talented facilitator and coach and creates a trusting and safe environment where people feel comfortable sharing. I have no hesitancy in recommending Andrew for individual and team coaching.

  • Andrew is a trusted advisor and coach for my team and I. I would have no hesitation in recommending his services to anyone (and I don't say that lightly). His key strength in my mind is his ability to combine solid 'book smarts' with a large and diverse range of client experiences. It is this breadth of clients (across both cultures and industries) that given him such a rich toolkit of stories to utilise when teaching. Whatever your issue you are working on as a team I guarantee he can help you and that he has likely already worked on the exact same issue with another firm.

  • Andrew helped my leadership team come together during a time of significant change and opportunity at the Salvation Army. We needed to be a single team so we could serve our customers and help them through this process. What I remember about working with Andrew was his ability to facilitate a very diverse group of stakeholders towards a common goal. I would recommend Andrew as a team and leadership coach to any organisation looking for a coach to help them achieve their goals.

  • Andrew has provided valuable leadership insights to myself and my team over the past 6 months. His authentic approach unlocks the teams feedback on themselves and allows for his accurate observation and reflection from his perspective. This has then formed the basis of our action plan moving forward. Clear, concise tactics to build resilience, accountability and ultimately drive the implementation our leadership goals. Whilst Andrew appears to thrive in the face to face contact, recent challenges have forced us online which to our delight has certainly not hampered our progress. Onwards and upwards! I would have no hesitation recommending Andrew to support leaders and their teams navigate the now and the future.
